In addition to enjoying the erudite survey of Melbourne’s (and Australia’s) creative talent as a spectator, I had the pleasure of participating in two events during Melbourne Design Week this year.
Working with the indefatigable George Hedon to reimagine Pause Fest & Awards in partnership with LCI Melbourne - Institute of Higher Education, and having what could only be described as a great dinner party conversation strangely attended by an audience (and without dinner) for Principle Design’s ‘Beyond Profit’ panel.
Both a testament to the power of creativity to change sectors, industries, companies, communities, and individuals. And a reminder that as divergent as your skills and context might be, there is no substitute for simply getting on with it!
